eMagazines is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.
We continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our products so that

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all customer-facing eMagazines products and services, including
but not limited to:

  • eMags Unlimited subscription platform

  • eMagazines digital-edition software and publisher solutions

  • Reading experiences, including:

    • Replica (page-faithful) viewers
    • Mobile-optimized, reflowable article viewers
  • Customer libraries and archives of back issues
  • E-commerce and account-related pages, including ordering, checkout,
    and subscription management

Accessibility Standards

eMagazines strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1,
Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), where reasonably possible given
the nature of the content and delivery format.

Our accessibility efforts focus on the following principles:

Across our platforms, eMagazines supports and continues to enhance accessibility features such as:

  • Scalable text and responsive layouts for different screen sizes and zoom levels
  • High-contrast visual presentation where supported by the user’s system settings
  • Audio narration for articles, where available, to support auditory access
  • Structured content and semantic markup in mobile-optimized reading experiences
  • Replica (page-faithful) editions are primarily image- and PDF-based and therefore may not be fully compatible with screen readers or other assistive technologies. Where possible, eMagazines provides alternative mobile-optimized or reflowable reading experiences that offer improved accessibility compared to the original print layout.
